If you are a cancer mom, caregiver or a health care provider and are looking to feel stronger and bounce back quicker from tough situations, develop a sense of belonging and connection or feel more loving peaceful and closer to God, I would like to show you a way that you can learn how to have grace under pressure while you care for your loved one or patients, while building your confidence in a safe, steady, grounded place and while being supported in your faith.

My name is Laura Lane; I am a transformational workshop leader and I do something unique for cancer moms, caregivers and health care providers in that I provide loving faith-based support when dealing with the heart wrenching diagnosis of childhood cancer.

In a new survey taken of moms whose child had recently been diagnosed with cancer, it was found that they experienced three major frustrations and problems while coping with their child’s diagnosis, treatment and follow up.

I would like to share with you these three problems and then tell you about a FREE webinar that will support you in your unique situation. The webinar will teach you how to become more emotionally resilient, deal with stress more effectively, feeling less isolated and more supported.

All without having to leave the house or your child’s hospital room.

Three struggles most cancer moms have when trying to cope with their child’s diagnosis and treatment.

  1. Emotionally Worn Out: You are most likely spending countless hours worrying about your child… dealing with appointments, treatments, medications and blood counts…trying to balance the needs of your child with those of your family at home… feeling exhausted and without a moments rest for you. In my webinar, you’ll discover how to better cope with the pressures and stress of being a caregiver and take better care of yourself.

  1. Isolated and Lonely: You struggle to feel understood by family and friends who can’t comprehend all you are experiencing as a cancer mom or caregiver or you are feeling the lack of support and outright ghosting of old friends. After diagnosis, the typical cancer mom spends the majority of their time looking after the needs of their child without the usual outlet of connecting with close friends. Many times, you will find yourself separated from your spouse and other children as well as extended family while one parent stays at the hospital and the other parent holds down the fort at home. Most friends and family have no experience dealing with a critically ill child and have no point of reference to provide insights or advice on how to cope, so that’s why having a sense of connection with other cancer moms or caregivers is vital especially ones who are further down the journey and know the tricks and tips to make life easier. In our webinar we will discuss that need, help you to connect with other cancer moms and provide an outlet for you to feel heard and understood.

  1. Feeling Afraid and Disconnected from God: If you are like every cancer mom I have ever met, it is only natural for you to feel afraid; afraid for your child, afraid of how this will impact you, your spouse, your other children, your finances, your hopes, dreams and goals for the future. You may find yourself overwhelmed, upset that this is happened to your child, your family, your life, angry at God for letting this happen and as a result feeling more distant in your relationship to God. In the webinar I will share with you some of what I learned to eliminate these negative emotions and strengthen my relationship with my Heavenly Father.

Don’t feel guilty that you are struggling during this extremely difficult time.

Nothing in life or school ever prepares us for the gut-wrenching news that our child or loved one has cancer. I completely understand the heartache.

I was there with my 12-year-old daughter Celeste when she was diagnosed with Pineoblastoma – a very rare cancerous brain tumour in 2011.

I experienced all the stress, loneliness and fears you are facing right now. Over the weeks, months and years I learned to not only cope but learned to rise above the challenges with ease and grace.

I learned to handle every difficult diagnosis, medical report and setback with resiliency.  I learned to forge strong relationships that could support me and our whole family.

I learned to let go of negative emotions and draw closer to my Heavenly Father so that I could better feel His love and peace. I know these times are hard, extremely hard.

That’s why I have committed to providing you with the support and resources you need to step up to the challenges you face as a cancer mom and caregiver.

My unwavering promise to you is that your confidence will be increased so that you can do what must be done to take care of your child.
